Today I interviewed Lexie Kite, who is one half of the nonprofit Beauty Redefined. And I've been following them for a very long time on Instagram, and love what they put out, the science and the research behind what they put out, and how they really are shifting perspectives of so many people and so many women in the world right now. And the conversation that ensued is amazing and it's gonna blow your mind. It is going to make you think in different ways. Lexie gives some really tangible steps that we can do right now to improve our body image, and also to improve our daughter's and our son's body image. And she has some really great perspectives when it comes to the media and our bodies. She has a PhD, she is a powerhouse and the work that Beauty Redefined is doing is so incredibly valuable. I hope as you left this episode, you felt like there's a light and a possibility for you to be able to get to the place where you are not thinking about your body 24/7, and that you can use that energy that you have been using on hating your body to a place of being able to look at your body as something that is able to do things for the world. It's able to go out and make choices and make a change and find vaccines and lift heavy weights and it's something that allows you to do and live and not just something to be looked at. Hopefully that was a huge takeaway, that your body is an instrument, not an ornament and that you are so much more than just the body that you are housed in.
